all fall down(2005) Filmed as a collage of images
of a young woman swinging in a yard, the film is set on a landscape comprised
of a pebble landing, a grassy hill and the angles of playground equipment.
The film connects the personal with the tactile, the emotional with the
playful, and the adult with the child. It is about finding the imbalance
necessary to take the ‘next step’, paradoxically critical
to the process of falling, a physical negotiation as if just barely tethered
to the landscape. |
